The Untouchables, known as the Soulless Heretics, are persecuted across the land. They are the Herald Clan, wandering the continent to collect the Emperor's gold coins in an effort to break the curse passed down through generations.
Among them is Azadine, born with the worst curse of all. Without any talent for magic, he becomes the lowest-ranking Herald using skills passed down from the elders. He roams the continent, fulfilling petitioners' wishes in exchange for gold coins.
