@DexReader That would have been a brainless move by the author. The whole point of overcoming fear as a Martial Artist is being able to face Death head on even if you know you will fail. Cause that's what Murim Martial artists are, people who live for their sword/dao. If the guy had suddenly got a power-up and won, it wouldn't change a thing, next time he found a strong opponent he will freeze, cause he didn't overcome his fear, just won against someone weaker.

Dropping this officially now. The plot is yet to move. The chapters are focused on individuals rather than moving the series. MC is shown powerful but is weak. At the time when he should be training himself and rising to higher position in his sect he trains people who gets defeated after his training. Plus everything is drgagged on unecessarily
